Holiday Traffic Safety

November 6th, 2012 - by DKRPA

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, and falling gas prices, one can anticipate increased traffic on Florida’s roadways. This, when added to the arrival of our friends from up north, is a recipe for more traffic crashes. Many of us will also be rushing around to fulfill obligations relating to work, family and shopping. You should anticipate there will be more impaired drivers on the roadways, as many will indulge in drinking alcoholic beverages when celebrating at holiday parties.

Please remember to have a designated driver, wear your safety belts and be alert. Be courteous of other drivers, refrain from texting while driving and maintain a safe speed. This way, all of us can enjoy the holidays!
